Why Sobek exists
Some encounters are not DPS checks—they are comprehension checks. Lasers, trap grids, and bouncing projectiles will kill perfect aim if you cannot stabilize. Sobek converts panic into predictable mitigated damage so you can learn patterns without resetting the entire night loop.
Ability rhythm
- Water shield — rotate before burst windows, not after.
- Trap repel — buy space in puzzle-heavy dungeons.
- Tidal surge — melee control and knockback for breathing room.
Nodes that matter first
Prioritize arrow damage reduction and thorn-style rebounds if you fight ranged camps frequently. If you prefer bossing, skew toward shield uptime and cooldown recovery—your tribe can supply damage once you stop dying to chip.
